Product Description :
Sikament®-610 is high-range water reducing and set retarding concrete admixture. It is a highly effective superplasticizer with controlled set retarding effect to produce flowing concrete in hot climates. Also, a substantial water reduction can be achieved to promote high ultimate strengths.
Complies with IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C 494-99/99a Type F & G Uses Sikament®-610 is used as a superplasticiser in the production of free flowing concrete such as: Slabs and foundations. Walls, columns and piers. Slender components with densely packed reinforcements. Textured surface finishes. It is also used as a water-reducing agent leading to high early strength concrete such as: Pre-cast concrete elements. Pre-stressed concrete. Bridges and cantilever structures. Areas of concrete where form-work must be removed quickly or early loading applied.

Sikament-610 provides the following beneficial properties:

Storage Storage Conditions / Shelf -Life :

System Information Application Details Consumption / Dosage :
0.5% to 2.0% by weight of cement for conventional concrete and 1.0% to 4.0% by weight of binder for high performance concrete. Actual dosage rate is dependent on the type of effect sought, retardation sought, quality of cement and aggregates, W/C ratio and ambient temperature.Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials. Sikament®-610 is compatible with all types of Portland Cement including SRC. It is also very much compatible with designs consisting of Micro Silica and Ground granulated blast furnace slag. It can be effectively used with split dosages, but the optimum dosage rates have to be finalised through site trials.

Application Instructions Dispensing
Sikament®-610 should be dispensed directly into the mixing water prior to its addition to the concrete. When accidental overdosing occurs, it does not entrain any excessive amount of air, but retards considerably though the ultimate strength will not be affected, if adequate care is taken.

Cleaning of Tools : Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.

Product Description
A liquid mid-range water-reducing cum set retarding concrete admixture with a powerful plasticizing effect. Also a substantial water reduction can be achieved to promote high ultimate strengths at the high dosage range.
Complies with IS : 9103 - 1999, ASTM C 494/C 494 M-99a Type B, D.

Uses
Plastiment®-100 can be used for high quality concrete in difficult conditions such as : High temperature; long haul; ready mix concrete and wherever high quality dense concrete is required.
